What's it all about?

Well, I found out the answer to that question when I was three years old.  Now, I am sure you are wondering to yourself, "How can a three year old kid know anything about anything?"  I have a daughter and a son, and let me tell you...  They know more then we think they do.

So, when I was three, I was talking to my mom about what it was to do good and bad things.  She described to me how Jesus Christ came to this earth to die for us to pay for our sins and how He came back from the dead and is alive today.  I believed what mom was saying, and she showed me some verses in the bible to describe what she was talking about.  I went over by my fireplace and knelt down and prayed to God to forgive me of those bad things and I asked Jesus to come into my heart and life.

Well, I still believe those very same things, and God has been working in my life recently to help me tell others about what I believe.  I think this Jesus guy is not just the key to keep us from doing bad things, or leading a moral life, but Jesus is the creator of life.  He is the King of the universe.  He is the answer to life!  Why do I live?  I live to serve God!

Check out some bible verses:

What's the problem?
Romans 3:10 -- As it is written: "There is no one righteous, not even one"
Romans 3:23 -- For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

What does the problem do to us?
Romans 6:23 -- For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

What is the solution to the problem?
John 3:16
-- For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
Romans 5:8 -- But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

How can we use this solution?
Romans 10:9-10 -- "That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved."
Romans 10:13 -- "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."
